Maintenance Services

Routine maintenance packages are available for small businesses, and home users as well. When you sign up for this service I will schedule an appointment to come on site monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly to maintain your network, clean up all workstations, update essential applications, review security threats, and verify your scheduled backups. As a contracted client of this service you will also receive on-call support during regular business hours and a discounted rate on all other technical services outside of the maintenance package agreement.

Routine Maintenance Services

  • Basic inspection and cleaning of all workstations.
  • Perform operating system updates and security patches.
  • Application software updates and configuration.
  • Virus protection updates and configuration.
  • Spam, Spyware, Malware and Pop-up protection updates.
  • Ensure all backup and data recovery tasks are enabled and tested.
  • Remove temp files, cached items and perform a hard drive clean-up.
  • Test and discover hardware related issues or potential problems.
  • Clean inside and outside of each computer on a quarterly basis.
  • Basic network connectivity and speed testing.
  • Basic security and intrusion testing of network and firewall abilities.
  • General assessment of network, workstations, connectivity, security as a whole.
  • Discuss briefly with management any user having workstation concerns or problems.

Once each monthly visit is completed, I will prepare a brief report on the current status of your systems and suggest any upcoming potential issues or problems. The report will include any pro-active solutions or suggestions that you can consider for future development. Management will be responsible for determining which issues are to be dealt with. Approximately three weeks after each monthly visit I will contact you to arrange the next monthly visit or attend as per a prearranged rotating schedule.

Included On-Call Support

Upon request, I will perform the following tasks during regular business hours at no additional cost:

  • Telephone/remote support
  • Account lock-outs or inability to login.
  • Modifications to simple services and email.
  • Changes to email and employee setups.
  • Restore of backup files on individual basis.
  • Deletion or creation of accounts.
  • Any other quick remote services required that are maintenance, backup or routine in nature.

Extensive usage of these services may result in additional hours charged as per regular rates.
